The GDC is the regulatory body of the dental profession. The Council registers all qualified dentists, dental hygienists and dental therapists who wish to practise dentistry in the United Kingdom.

The Association of Dental Implantology is a registered Charity dedicated to providing the professionals with continuing implant education and the public with a greater understanding of the benefits of dental implant treatment as an option for missing teeth.

The main object of the Foundation is the relief of sickness and the promotion and protection of good health among those suffering or at risk of Mouth, Throat and other Head & Neck Cancer by the collation and dissemination of relevant information among the public generally and by the provision of support to patients, carers and health professionals.
